Aidilfitri Cakes

First cake we received today, from SBJ. It was sooo biggg...too big for my mom's fridge. We had to cut it into four pieces to fit the fridge.

This is the second one... let's open up the box n see how's the cake inside...

Taadaaaa... here's the 2nd cake... from PUSPANITA. Just a simple cake.

The third one for today...from Nusajaza

Wahhh.. a blue cake... nice color...

Now with 3 cakes.. and a lot of food leftovers from yesterday's iftar.. how are we going to store these cakes in the fridge???

Ehh..wait..late in the afternoon...another cake delivery to the house... aahhh thanx God that one is not an icing cake...no need to store in the fridge..

Now..instead of cake, can we have hampers please... hehe...

Iftar @ Tjantek

My two housemates treated me for a lavish meals at this bistro cafe...

My Macchiato Gelato

Ms. Marha's - Almond Hazel Ice Blended n Ms. Nerry's Honey Dew and Apple Ice Blended

Ms. Nerry's Basmati Rice with Sweet Sour Chicken

I was hoping to have Chicken Cordon Bleu (had that when I visited this place before) but they had taken it out of the menu... that left me with no idea on what to order... after scanning through the menu (for more than 5 times) I settled for this boring chicken chop...

Owwhh... we had this as our appetizer... how about that?? hehe...

We had such a marvelous time...
Thank youuuuuuuu... muashhhh...

Nuzul Quran

NUZUL AL-QURAN or the commemoration of the revelation of the Holy Quran falls on the 17th of Ramadhan and is one of the highlights of the holy month of Islam. Nuzul which roughly translates into the transfer or revelation refers to the revelation of the first verses of the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) on the 17th of Ramadhan.

In conjunction with this special day, Kelab Kesenian Islam KPTM Kuantan organized; Hari Kesenian Islam dan Jamuan Berbuka Puasa.

Ustaz Nawi Deraman is the speaker for 'Ceramah Nuzul Quran'. About 20 students attended this 'ceramah' and breaking of fast. Where were the rest of the students?? This is so typical for most of the students. This kind of event would not be their top priority unless the word compulsory and fine stated in the notice.

Muslim Socks (Kaos Kaki Wudhu)

I found this ad while updating my FB...

"NOW YOU DON'T HAVE TO REMOVE YOUR SOCKS WHENTAKING THE ABLUTION
(WUDHU)!"

Malaysia : RM14.00

According to the ad:

The MuslimahSocks has a special opening under the toes. When taking your ablution (wudhu),
you just need to pull the socks up (without removing it). Once you are done with the ablution (wudhu), simply rolls the socks down to cover back you toes and it's all done!

My question is....

Is it necessary? Why dont you just take it off?? How lazy can you be? Hmmm...

p/s: The foot looks a little scary.. sort of lifeless...what do you think???

*** Kaos - Indonesian for socks.

Filler Entry: Cocoa Lover

Another yummyy filler entry...hahaa..

I know... I know...you are now mad at me for posting these photos... haha...

A closer look at Cocoa Lover ice-blended....

Something to share....

Latest study suggests cocoa may be richer in antioxidants than better known "healthy" drinks like tea and red wine.

Researchers at Cornell University have shown that the popular winter beverage contains more antioxidants per cup and points to a tasty alternative in the quest to maintain a
diet rich in healthy antioxidants, chemicals that have been shown to fight cancer, heart disease and aging.

Be Careful or Carefull??

This entry is an excerpt from The Star - Mind Our English

THIS photo was taken at one of the cages at Wild Life Park in Langkawi, Kedah.
The word “careful” has been spelt wrongly with an extra ‘l’. In fact, this notice with the wrong spelling was displayed at most of the cages.

For the sake of the park and the fact that it is one of the many tourist attraction places in Langkawi, let us hope the people concerned will rectify the mistake and learn from it.
