English Lounge

Last night I got an idea to set up an English Lounge for the students. It's a place where the students can relax and read magazines etc. Wouldn't it be nice to have such a place here in this college. But with all the constraint in terms of financial n space I have my doubts in making it come true. Well, anyway, it's always fun and exciting to have ideas that you can turn into reality. Coz, sometimes, dream do comes true...

Lazy Friday

Having the time of my life here without the students around...hehe...

For the past few weeks, we (re: the lecturers) are enjoying our sweet time working here in this so called college. Spending our time at the office without the hassle and bustle of students coming in n going out of our little office. But that does not mean we just simply can sit n 'goyang kaki'. We have open registration to keep ourselves occupied. In fact, I am now in the middle of open regsitration duty, my job scope is to do all the photocopying. Since there's no certificates or exam slips to be photocopied, it's blogging time...hehe..

The open registration process is not really getting a good respond. Eventhough there are students registering for the courses offerred but the number is not encouraging.

I'll be on duty again this Sunday (re:argghhhh...no lazy sunday for me!!)

1. Late for work!
2. Took 2 hrs for outing to town.
3. Paid my credit dard.
4. Bought colleagues wedding presents
5. 8-9:30pm - Spoken Class
6. Received La Tahzan from Dad!!
7. Put the unclaimed journals in a box.

The mid-sem break is over...it's back to school you guys n gals!!

I am looking forward to start my day tomorrow. After 4 days of T.O.T , I just can wait to put all the things I've learned into practise. Just wait and see....hahaha...

New Semester

It has been quite sometime since my last entry. Since then both of the programs are at the full throttle. Though for the UiTM Program the schedule is still a bit crazy, most of the classes have started with the lesson. As for my BEL classes, I am still a bit puzzle with the schedule, especially with my section 03. I've been to that class twice, at both times there were no student at all!

For this semester, I am only involved with UiTM program. It has been awhile since I last teach UiTM program. I am looking forward for this new semester with a lot of new and fresh faces, not forgetting new challenges in and outside classrooms.

It's Friday!!

Yeah, tomorrow it's a Saturday off for us. Yey!! (again) hehehe...

Well..the college is quite empty right now, most of the UiTM students have gone back to their respective hometowns. As for us, we are having our sweet time doing things that we can only dream of doing before (when we were busy with classes).

So, what is my plan for this weekend??? Hmmm...let see.. first and foremost need to do some spring cleaning for my bedroom. It has been awhile since I last had a thorough cleaning for my room. Soo...the first agenda on my list of things to do for tomorrow is....clean my room! Then...what's next??? hmmm got a wedding reception to attend. Erkk.. haven't bought the gift for the bride n groom yet...hmmm...

Errkkk...got no idea to write la today... can't wait to go home, my laptop is having a problem. Need to quickly settle the problem...arrgghhh....

Home Again

Today is the final day of exam for students doing KPTM homegrown programs.
Today is also the day that I've been waiting for...
I'm going back to my hometown today,yey!!

Towards The End

Next week will be the final week of classes for this semester!! All of us are starting to feel the heat of the final exams. The students are busy finishing all the class projects and assignments. There is no more time to procrastinate anymore. As for me, there are tons of things need to be settled before the end of the semester. First and foremost, I have to make sure I have covered all of the syllabus so that my students won't have problem answering the final exam questions.

Hehehehe.. I'm writing this with friend NY next to me.. she is laughing right now, dunno what is she laughing at... hmmm???? She seems so darn happy today, maybe last nite.... she gayuted with her bf all nite long..... hmmm... jeles2...

So...what I have been up to lately?? Well... yesterday was the closing ceremony day for english week 2005. Phewww!!! Finally it's over!! Yeah yeah.. No more coming to college in the evening and went home in the wee hour of morning...

Let's talk about the closing, initially it was planned to be held on the 1st of October, due to various reasons, it has to be postponed to yesterday. The ceremony started an hour late, this is due to the problem with participants who were not on time. The students were supposed to be at the library (the venue for the ceremony) at 8.30am. They failed to be on time coz some of them got classes and some of them were still deep in sleepy head land...after one hour...it's time to call the Madam Director... The arrival of Mdm Director marks the starting of the ceremony....

Mid-Sem

Just got back from proctoring BEL 100 mid-sem exam. I have an hour to spare before my second class of the day starts. Funny things happened during the exam just now, there were students who still do not know the name of their lecturers. If they just spelled the name incorrectly that is acceptable. But in this case they simply wrote down the name of the lecturer who is not teaching them that particular subject. How ignorant can they be? Another incident was when a student called my colleague (also a sensei) 'abang' hehehee...

Hello Again

It has been quite a while since my last post. I've been quite busy with classes and students' activities. This week is the sports week for the college, if I'm not mistaken this would be the first event of its kind. (At least since I work here)

Apart from that, next week is the English Week!! Arrghhh... things are pretty hectic now, lots of things need to be finalised! Hope everything will turn out to be ok.

Argghh, it's almost 1pm, time to go..

Today, the whole college mourns the passing away of Mohd Nazri Abu Hassan also known as Bob. The late Mohd Nazri collapsed while having a session at the public gym in Kuantan.
